I’ve created the comprehensive language manual at docs/language_overview.md. The document includes:

Structure:

  • Inline Elements - 50+ elements organized into 15 categories (text formatting, colors, links, references, special characters, checkboxes,
math, code, structure, tables, images, bibliography, specialized links, interactive, miscellaneous)
  • Ordinary Blocks - 40+ blocks organized into 9 categories (section headings, lists, theorem-like environments, formatting blocks, document
metadata, special blocks, tables, Q&A, additional blocks)
  • Verbatim Blocks - 20+ blocks organized into 10 categories (math blocks, code blocks, verse, macro definitions, data and charts, graphics,
    media, chemistry, arrays, raw verbatim)

Content

Each entry includes:

  • Name and aliases
  • Syntax with examples
  • Arguments and properties (where applicable)
  • Usage examples

The document also includes a section on ETeX notation explaining the simplified math syntax.
